For this project, Cecilia is focused on the exercise of eating poetry, the artist invites us to reflect on the poetic and its performative aspect. As she invokes and aims to embody her South American ancestrality, Cecilia researches digestion as an action that interrogates colonial pasts, she whispers the words said-unsaid and pushes us to reflect on coloniality and reparations.
