The Reparation party
Through poems, pop music and blood red, the performance consists of a monologue that invites to repair the broken hearts of the attendees to the party, who are the broken-hearted?
What is the crack, what is the wound that bleeds all the time?, Who broke our hearts for the first time? Who has a broken heart?
The artist reads poems of vindication and rage, toasts her peers and dedicates poems to her colonizers, in an attempt to heal, repair and mend hearts.
In the end, who will heal our broken hearts? Will we really be able to pronounce the word reparation?
