ROTA is a decolonial fiction narrated by three voices taking us to the heart of colonial shadows. Built on strategies of resistance, the performance breaks open a time where the characters attempt to tear down coloniality. Through the stories and experiences from the South, the audience is invited to reflect on social class, colonialism and on reparations.
By means of the Chewing gums and the gesture of chewing on the past, ROTA challenges the audience and invites them to collectively lick their wounds.
